Reflecting on the Light
Six days. Six articles. One truth that changed how I see God:
“God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
What started as a writing project became something deeper, an encounter with His presence. I didn’t just study “light.” I experienced it.
Why Light?
I used to pray, “Lord, give me light.” But Scripture says He is light.
That small shift—from having to being—reshaped how I pray, how I walk through dark seasons, and how I trust Him.
What I Learned
- Light exposes to heal, not shame.
- Light guides with the next step, not the full map.
- Light warms, softening hard places.
- Light gives life, even where despair once ruled.
It’s not just what God does. It’s who He is.
The Shift
Now my prayers sound different. I ask less for “clarity” and more to simply stand in His light. Even exposure feels less threatening—the same light that reveals also cleanses.
Your Turn
Which part of God’s light spoke to you most—exposing, guiding, warming, or life-giving? Has it changed how you see your own dark places?
Share your thoughts—I’d love to hear.
Looking Ahead
Some truths deserve more than a single article. Just like God is light, we’ll be exploring others—God is love, God is holy…
What would you like me to dive into next?
✨ Thank you for journeying with me. Remember: the Light that exposes also heals, guides, warms, and gives life. He’s shining in your life right now—whether you feel it or not.
